A STUDY OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF MUTUAL FUNDS IN INDIAN FINANCIAL MARKET

Abstract

Mutual fund market is offering a great number of schemes and the respective schemes are modified according the need and understanding of investors. Indian financial system is a bit complex one and the mutual fund market is assisting all the small and medium investors to become the part of the same. They have to just buy some units of a selected mutual fund wait for the right time to get highest return. The income earned through these investments and the capital appreciations realized by the schemes are shared by the unit holders in proportion to the number of units owned by them. This present study will evaluate the present structure of mutual fund investment, from the perspective of investor and also evaluate the returns and risks on the basis of ratio tools.
